Description

In order to obtain the desired and required reduction of fuel consumption and in particular of the CO2 emissions various combustion systems and fuel alternatives for hydrogen engines are examined. With the combustion systems for gasoline, varieties of the inner mixture formation (fuel direct injection with stratified charge as well as spray-guided and wall-guided processes) promise high standard efficiency factor potentials, yet they partially require substantial development steps for large scale productions.
