Project Details

Description

The project aims at the development of a new log wood stove technology with downdraft combustion, which can be combined with a flexible heat exchanger module in a compact design. With this new stove technology a milestone regarding low CO, OGC and particulate matter emissions should be achieved and logwood stoves should be brought up close to the emission levels of modern automatic logwood boilers. This is for wood stoves a very important development because several EU countries are planning very stringent particulate matter emission limits or already implement them (e.g. Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
