Description
The goal of this project is to explore the integration of design and analysis into a single software. For isogeometric modeling, the same geometry representation is used for both design and analysis. An isogeometric approach to describe geometry enables an optimal integration of analysis tools into Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software. A successful combination of design and analysis within modeling software provides the designer feedback about the physical plausibility of the product already during early design phases. This leads to time and cost savings for the development of new products, guarantees a fast adoption to shorter product lifecycles and allows for an experimental, flexible design approach.
