SIM-GUE - Support in the simulation-technical analysis of a medium voltage network

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

By expanding a medium voltage network, e.g. by changing certain power supplies or by adding or removing loads, it is also useful to worry about the switching state of the network. The goal is to minimize losses and maximize uptime. Another question is the possible maximum utilization of the network, which is limited by the existing lines and transformers. Also, the voltage swing at the customer, which is caused by consumers and decentralized producers, must not be neglected, as this is subject to legal limits. In order to determine the required capacity of the electrical energy store (s), the medium-voltage network to be examined must be simulated in a network calculation program.
