Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The aim of the project is to describe and to model the microstructure of complex multi-component alloys (Nickel-Base-Superalloys) during hot forming. Additionally a bi-directional interface will be generated to connect the model with the FE-software DEFORM™. The significant magnitudes and parameters of interest will be taken into consideration. The newly generated microstructural model has to be validated and verified through experimental investigations (physical simulation system GLEEBLE™).
