Description
Assessment of the stability of natural and cut slopes is one of the key problems in geotechnical engineering. Emphasis is put on numerical analysis whereas besides displacement based finite element methods finite element limit analysis is also employed. In addition unsaturated soil behaviour is considered and therefore the effects of rainfall events can be taken into account.
