SR12+ - Load carrying capacity and deformation behaviour of thrust rings Development of a Design model - SR12

This one-year research project is a follow-up project of the FFG-project with the title „Load carrying capacity and deformation behaviour of thrust rings“, which was done by the Institute in the past. Within this project – based on the results in the FFG-project the load carrying and deformation behaviour of thrust rings with realistic dimensions in practice is investigated with sophisticated FEM-analysis. Based on these results a design model will be developed for practical application.
