Stability prediction for slopes and hillsides

Aim of the research project is to deepen the knowledge for all colleagues involved in this project in the field of stability of hillsides and slopes with the consequence of more economical structures in future. The project includes the participation in lectures, seminars and field trips to construction sites in Austria and Slovakia as well. For special conditions stability analyses based on a variation of input parameters and a comparison with the results of insitu measurements are done to achieve conclusions for the most economical support measures. These conclusions should be used in the design process of further projects.
