Theory of Functions - Partial Differential Equations

Function theoretic properties of solutions of partial differential equations and of solutions of systems of such equations are investigated. In addition questions concerning generalized analytic functions are discussed. In the study of partial differential equations the development and investigation of differential and integral operators of Bauer, Bergman and Vekua type constitute the main field. Here linear partial differential equations of second and higher order and systems of such equations are considered. Moreover nonlinear equations such as the Toda and the Ernst equation are treated.
