The analysis of thermal effects on CNC Machines is focused on three procedures:
The ETVE (Environmental Temperature Variation Error) test, the thermal distortion caused by rotating spindle and the thermal distortion caused by moving linear axes. The goal of the research is to derive recommendations to improve accuracy, both for machine tool users and for machinetool designers .
Explore the research topics touched on by this project. These labels are generated based on the underlying awards/grants. Together they form a unique fingerprint.
