Project Details

Description

Recent research & development on internal-combustion engines has been focused on the reduction of both fuel consumption and toxic exhaust emissions. One approach towards this objective is referred to as "engine heat management strategy". To support this method it is necessary to define and to realize an ideal engine temperature distribution. The temperature field requirements can be deducted from thermodynamic analysis.
