Description

Phase 2 of the TUGSAT-1 project, the development launch and operations of the first Austrian nanosatellite is concerned with the assessment of suitable launch providers, the development of ground-based software for data acquisition, data handling and archiving of the science and telemetry data which are received by the mission control centre installed at the Institute of communication Networks and Satellite Communications. Furthermore preparation for the operational phase of the spacecraft is taking place. Operations is planned to start in Spring 2009.
