Two-way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer

This project aims at the investigation of methods for the high precission comparison of frequency and time signals via satellites. In various applications in research and industry, accurate frequency and time information is needed. Cooperations with several laboratories in Europe and other continents have been established and two way satellite time transfer measurements have been performed. For these experiments a small satelite ground station (VSAT) with automatic control has been developed.
