Urban Renewal of Industrial Zones

Since the middle of the 20th century, the industry, the social and the economic aspects have changed. New Technologies and communication systems allow innovative possibilities for live and architecture. The old structures have lost their function, but not their value. The knowledge of the instruments of planning and the strategies for the process of revitalisation, also the creation of individuell design and its realisation are the main points of the lectures for this subject. Das Kennenlernen bestehender Planungsinstrumente und Strategien, die einen schrittweisen Revitalisierungsprozess logisch hervorgehen lassen, aber auch das Erarbeiten neuer, eigener Methoden zur Umsetzung des kreativen Entwurfskonzeptes in ein realisierbares Projekt sind die Inhalte der Lehrveranstaltungen Entwerfen und der diesjährigen Projektübung zu diesem Thema.
