Description

A traffic and mobility concept for the LKH-Univ.-Klinikum Graz is to be drawn on behalf of the Styrian Krankenanstaltsges.m.b.H.. The clinic is, with its approximately 7000 employees, its over 80.000 stationary and about 820.000 outpatient patients per year, a very big cause for traffic on the outskirts of Graz. The traffic situation at present with its cause-effect connections is shown. The present traffic behaviour of people with the destination / starting point LKH-Univ.-Klinikum Graz is shown through extensive surveys and interviews. The traffic related outcomes of the planed and partially realized measures from the project LKH 2000 are an integral part of this study. While doing so, one has got to see it in context with the present and, because of planed enlargement measures, future parking facility situation. Suggested solutions for infrastructural accompanying measures for traffic guidance respectively traffic organisation outside and inside the clinic area are drawn up. The traffic organizing measures to secure the goals of the clinic should be acquired and brought into effect in company with representatives of those concerned groups. An internal mobility-management for employees to contribute the long term guarantee “the quality of reach ability” for all concerned groups is being discussed.
