VISDAT - Visual Analytics for Promoting Digital and Scientific Literacy

The high demand for employees in science, technology and information technologies is often in contrast to the low proportion of young people interested in the relevant school subjects and occupations. The aim of the project is to promote the interest and motivation of pupils at primary and lower secondary level to work with scientific and technical content and to promote computer skills. For this purpose, pupils are enabled to collect, evaluate and interpret environmental and weather data with computer systems as young researchers. The project results are to be incorporated into the education, training and further education of students and teachers at primary and lower secondary level.
