VMI - Mautvignetten - Visual inspection of toll stickers

The motorway provider applies a systems to identify vignette stickers automatically (AVK system). Suspicious cases of toll barking are removed for manual inspection. The false alarms within the set of suspicious cases should be reduced by a prototype for automatic visual vignette inspection though image processing. Methods of artificial intelligence are applied to detect the vignette stickers as well as the number plates. Training data will be applied to identify the most suitable deep learning method, which will be implemented in the prototype. For the license plate reading an existing proven system (Carrida) is used. Intelligent data management organizes interfaces, data management and process steps.
