Project Details
Description
The goal of this project is the development of a Turbulence Chamber Gasification and a Combustion-Optimized Gas Engine. Because of knocking phenomenas the high amount of hydrogen in the gas comming from the gasification is a great challange for engine operation. A knock-modell was developed to predict the knock-probability, the spatial distribution of knock-spots and the knock intensity. The knock behaviour is calculated using a 3D CFD code.
