The aim of this project deals with the topic of lifetime extension and increase of cycle stability for rechargeable zinc-air batteries for the storage of electric energy. For this purpose new innovative materials, which are used lately in fuel cell technology, will be tested and optimized to the specific needs in zinc-air batteries.
