A Miniaturized and Hybrid SIW Resonator Solution for Filtering Power Divider and Antenna Array

In this paper, we describe a compact and hybrid configuration of coupled-resonators for filtering power divider and antenna array built by substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology. The combination of conventional and combline cavity resonators is exploited to form a tunable and adjustable feed network with significant size reduction. For demonstration, a third-degree two-way power divider and 2-by-1 array antenna operating at X-band are designed and fabricated. The full-wave simulation and measurement results agree well with primary design goals, which verify the validity of the proposed method
