Abstract

In the study at hand the Modified Denil Fishway was biotical tested on a small hydroelectric power station with water level fluctuations of up to 60 cm. The tests could show a very good functionality for small fish, which could, regardless of the fluctuations, pass upstream in high numbers. Especially remarkable was the fact that a high number of fish could pass upstream even in hydraulically unfavourable conditions.
