Abstract

• High-purity hydrogen was produced from syngas, biogas and CH4 using fixed bed reactor systems • The production of pure pressurised hydrogen is possible without additional gas compression by steam oxidation of iron • A1 kW-prototype for the production of pure hydrogen using CH4 or biogas as fuel is under development.
