Abstract
Digital technology has set the scene for entirely new ways in which people can collaborate across geographical boundaries and professional delineations. Open-source software, makerspaces, and platforms for shared approaches and collaborative projects have flourished with the Internet, and the ‘single author’ and intellectual property paradigms of the 20th century are being creatively reimagined.
