Abstract
By enabling concepts like planar lenses, absorbers or directors metamaterial is a promising topic to manipulate electromagnetic characteristics, tailoring devices to meet the requirements for the next generation of mobile communication, as energy consumption and compactness. This paper is illustrating the benefits of including the very concept of metamaterials into the design of electronic devices to improve the overall output of the system.
