Abstract

Among spectro-interferometric methods the hook method has been widely used because of the simple data reduction procedure employed. This paper demonstrates how the spectro-interferograms can be analyzed to obtain f-values of significantly higher accuracy by using Fourier analysis rather than applying the classical hook method or phase methods based only on fringe peak detection techniques.
