Abstract
A3 measurements on 2.83 MHz over a distance of 502 km of some 17 months are analyzed. The results are sorted by solar zenith angles, asymmetries derived and a relation to the sunspot number sought. It is furthermore attempted to include night absorption in the analysis. Some of the possible systematic errors are qualitatively described.
