Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference paperpeer-review

Abstract

Responsive web design allows web pages and web apps to
be assembled from flexible components, which can adapt to
the constraints and opportunities of the display device. This
paper looks at how the principles of responsive web design
can be applied to five commonly used web-based data
visualisations: line chart, bar chart, parallel coordinates,
scatterplot, and choropleth map. Interactive examples are
provided.
