Abstract
In this paper, a sliding mode based control concept
for networked feedback loops with variable transmission delays
is presented. The proposed algorithm consists of a buffering
mechanism and a robust discrete-time control law capable of
rejecting bounded matched perturbations. The effectiveness of
this approach is demonstrated by means of a numerical example
and a real-world experiment.
