Beschreibung
The modeling of the aorta, with its diseases, is subject of finite-modeling research at the START-project under Prof. Holzapfel. An input to this modeling is the structure and direction of colagene fibres. An issue is the automation of the segmentation of fiberbundles. This is the topic of a collateral and supportive project. Its results go into the modeling studies of Prof. Holzapfel.
