Alumni Affairs (92140)

The technical complexities of our time require an intensive debate between scientific disciplines and society, as well joint consideration of knowledge, technical applications and their impact on the environment and economy. The staff unit Alumni Affairs connects members and former members of TU Graz with people who promote, assess, and bring the design and development of technology in society to light. Tasks The staff unit Alumni Affairs + maintains, expands and strengthens the bonds between the central contacts of TU Graz with graduates (alumni), + initiates and maintains a comprehensive network of contacts with members of society connected to TU Graz (decision makers, dignitaries, experts, opinion leaders of any age) and people who would like to support TU Graz, + offers digital communication platforms (Communities alumni++) for graduates and organisational units (faculties, institutes) of TU Graz, + supports TU Graz organisational units by promoting events, which it does by informing the network of contacts, + organises numerous activities to do with orientation – career – socialisation for students, members of staff and cooperation partners.
