Office for Gender Equality and Equal Opportunity (98920)

TU Graz actively promotes gender equality and the advancement of women. The staff of the Gender Equality and Affirmative Action Office develop measures in coordination with the University management, the Working Group for Equal Opportunities and other stakeholder groups. All Austrian universities have a legal requirement to take measures to promote equal opportunities and the advancement of women. The objectives of TU Graz are the advancement of women, the promotion of young talent in children and youths, as well as balancing relationships, families and careers or degree pro-grammes. Furthermore, the Office's staff initiate processes that help to recognize individual differences (age, religion, ethnic origin, etc.) as potential and to use them.
