Project Details


During heating in furnace, continuous casting and rolling of spring making, scale forms and leads to decarburization and oxidation, which can produce deteriorated surface quality and mass loss. This study is to investigate the oxidation and decarburization in spring steels by experimental and simulation methods, and consequently to decrease them.
