autoWeg - Automatic control and estimation of vehicle characteristic parameters

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The cooperation focuses on the modeling of complex technical systems and the design and implementation of control algorithms for modern automotive assistance systems. Research is being conducted into new methods in the area of model-based control, the estimation and observation of disturbance and state variables, and mathematical modeling. The goals of the research cooperation include improving vehicle dynamics, efficiency, safety and driving comfort. In the course of the cooperation, algorithms that can be processed in real time are to be developed. Therefore, the developed algorithms must be implementable in automotive control units. An investigation of methods for the time-discrete realization of the designed algorithms is therefore an important part of the cooperation. The use of data available outside the vehicle system ("automotive cloud") is also to be included in the algorithms to be designed.
