DEF1 - Digital Engine Factory 1.0

In this project, an event-oriented simulation model of parts of the engine factory is to be created and subsequently analysed. The event-orientated simulation model is created using the "Tecnomatix Plant Simulation" software. Before modelling begins, a model concept is first developed together with the company. On the basis of this, a targeted data collection is then carried out and a final concept including the objectives, mapping accuracy of the areas and the basic logic is created. This forms the basis for the creation of the simulation model. Once the model has been completed, it is validated together with technical experts of the company and initial findings are derived from the dynamic system behaviour. Finally, various simulation studies are carried out with the model and specific recommendations are formulated based on the findings.
