DigEx - Simulation of the threat and damage potential of explosives at urban level

Digital aerial images allow the automated 3D reconstruction of entire cities and urban areas. In this project we will automatically enrich this bare geometric information with semantic data like material properties and object types. We will couple this information with highly reliable explosion simulation to form an integrated tool for disaster relief training, planning and reaction in the times of modern, concerted threat scenarios.
