Description

The major aim of STORK 2.0 is to contribute to the realization of a single European electronic identification and authentication area. It is a continuation of STORK, and is building on its results by establishing interoperability of different approaches at national and EU level, eID for persons, eID for legal entities and the facility to mandate. STORK 2.0 involves directly 19 countries in the Consortium (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom), while the rest of MS and Associated Countries such as Germany, Finland, and will be involved through the MS Reference Group.
