Description
The aim of the research project is to improve the patency of the product data management (PDM) based on the product model (CAD) by means of holistic approaches. Methods should be developed, that operate in the author system and that are able to extend the available information of the product model with regard to metadata, methods of analysis, and assessments. The scope of information is aligned to downstream processes of development in order to ensure an accurate supply. Furthermore, methods and tools for the demonstration are to develop which can be used to check the consistency of these data on the different requirements of the development process.
