H2EDT - Hydrogen-focused twin-engine Electrification and Digitalization Testbed

The H2EDT hydrogen-powered fuel cell applications will support the partners research activities through a flying DA42 testbed on which novel energy management as well as fuel cell integration systems can be tested and jointly evaluated. The DA42 testbed will be supported by a fully digitalized data measurement system including realtime access for fuel cell system monitoring and a novel electronic brake and steering system which is compliant with the developed energy management system. For the European research communities, the partners are establishing a European-wide, Joint Hydrogenfocused Research Community (EHRC) platform to allow for a better research knowledge exchange and research result uptake within the Austrian aviation community.
