In this project, an innovative composite window construction with integrated shading is being investigated. The composite space of the construction is very sensitive in terms of moisture balance, so it is necessary to further develop the climate management of the composite space and, in doing so, to consider the complex interaction of temperature distribution, air flow, moisture distribution, driving rain and wind influence under more demanding climatic conditions in terms of building physics and, if necessary, to demonstrate optimisation potential on the prototype.
