Description

The aim of this project is the simulation of stiffness properties and the strain state of a hydro-bushing undergoing operational relevant states of deformation. Therefore experiments on both unfilled and filled bushings are done by Siemens. Afterwards the geometry is determined by sawing up the tested bushing. With the help of the determined geometry a FEM-model will be set up to simulate the load cases from the experiment. The modelling of the hydrodynamic component is done by a cavity for both open and closed chambers. Finally a comparison between experimental and simulation data is carried out.
