Project Details
Description
A scientific study focusing on the complex transient fault currents in converters, especially after the detection of a voltage dip and the subsequent activation of the Fault-Ride-Through (FRT) mode.
The aim is to analyze the behavior of inverters during faults with focus on defining robust protection systems.
In addition, tests are carried out on commercially available converters to verify their real short-circuit current characteristics
