Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The linear motor produces very high force per unit area, so they are best suitable for machine tools which require high speed and precision. Maximum utilisation of these features will bring high-speed, high precision machining to the level, which could not be attained by conventional rotary motors. Especially the investigation includes dynamic, static and thermal behaviour tests of the linear motor, and sensibility and suitability of the linear motor for the machine tools.
