Project Details
Description
As part of the completed "MUT 2030" project, the industrial partner's existing assembly network was analyzed and the characteristics of an "ideal" assembly system were developed. Based on this, variants were defined, roughly planned and compared in monetary and qualitative terms. Based on the results, the company pre-selected 4 scenarios to be examined in detail in this project in order to support the decision-making process for a specific future assembly network.
As part of the "Footprint 2.0" project, the time course of capacity requirements up to 2035 is to be roughly determined for all 4 scenarios. Subsequently, a schedule for the internal or external relocation of (pre-)assembly activities and a rough timetable for the implementation of the planned line assemblies will be drawn up. Furthermore, the necessary prerequisites, investments and other expenses for all scenarios should be worked out in the project team and the effects on the profit and loss account should be estimated. Finally, the 4 scenarios are to be compared with regard to the possible risks and the economic evaluation.
