Learning Analytics - Effects of data analysis on learning success

When using digital educational offers, learners generate a large amount of data. Collecting, analysing and interpreting this data is known as 'learning analytics' and can make a significant contribution to increasing learning success. This research project is dedicated to the question of the technical, didactic, legal and ethical framework conditions for Learning Analytics and how these conditions affect the successful use of Learning Analytics. Different forms of data analysis in different digital teaching/learning settings are used and analysed. The research results will be made generally and openly accessible, so that as many educational institutions and companies as possible that want to use Learning Analytics in their educational offerings can benefit from them.
