N-Abwasserenergie - Integratation of Sewage Water Related Infrastructure in Regional Energy Supply Concepts

As research in Austria and other countries has shown, there exist high, but unused waste heat energy potentials from sewage water. Types of use with high potential shall be further investigated. Successful concepts in order to bring projects into realization will be adapted to the situation in Austria considering different opportunities with spatial planning concepts to include the relevant waste water infrastructure and applied in some test cases.
