Probabilistic Characterisation of Rock Mass in Geotechnics, Quantification of Interactions and Development of Prognosis Models

Project: Research area

Project Details

Description

The patterns about the transitions of rock mass states are characterized by the probabilistic matrix about transitions lengths. The probabilistic matrices about transitions lengths from vertical or laterally spaced sequences (borehole, outcrop,...) can be tested for homogeneity and conclusions can be drawn regarding variation of rock mass states over space.
