Project Details
Description
Standart heat recovery units currently used in bimoass heating plants either feature a relatively low energy efficiency or high investment costs. By using suitable materials the construction of simple and efficient heat recovery units shall be achieved. Long-term test runs with heat exchanger prototypes and the use of a newly developed low temperture corrosion probe shall help to gain a better understanding regarding the corrosion mechanisms involved and to develop a system regarding the selection of appropriate materials for these heat exchangers.
