Starke Zentren - Strengthening city and town centres

As part of the "Strong Centres" project, the Institute of Urbanism is evaluating the process and its spatial implementation in the strengthening of town centers in Styrian municipalities, which were supported and promoted by Department 17 of the Province of Styria. At the same time, the internal provincial process and the process in the municipalities are evaluated by participating in meetings with pilot municipalities and at “Ortskerntisch”. Furthermore, expert interviews will be conducted, and good practice examples analyzed in order to determine possible optimizations and transferability. Recommendations for action for the province and municipalities will be made as a result of the interlinking.
