Description
Concealed beams in floor slab construction are usually made of steel in conjunction with all types of prefabricated slabs. This method of construction has weak points in terms of deconstructability, CO2 emissions and fire protection. In this project, the advantages of UHPC (UltraHighPerformanceConcrete) are to be utilised for this purpose. The aim is to develop a resource-optimised, pretensioned lightweight beam. The development process is guided by the design requirements, the possibilities of innovative production and the evaluation with regard to economic efficiency and climate compatibility. The project is to be finalised with a pilot structure.
