VaMOS - Regulating traffic at tolling stations by optimizing the division track

The aim of VaMOS is therefore to optimize the processing and lane assignment at the tolling station: a prototype system optimizing the throughput at a toll station by improving the lane allocation will be demonstrated. For a medium-term prediction, the system will integrate additional traffic information from ASFINAG and then optimize, based on the computed traffic situation, lane assignments.
